John A. Passalacqua Jr., 23, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 3, 2016. He was born on April 15, 1993 in New Hartford to John A. and Christine Hanna Passalacqua and was a 2012 graduate of Mount Markham Central School. He furthered his education at Herkimer County B.O.C.E.S., becoming a certified automotive technician and earned his N.Y. State Inspector’s License.
John was currently employed as an automotive technician for Cooper Kia in Yorkville.
He is survived by his father, John A. Passalacqua Sr. and his fiancée Fran Foley, his mother, Christine Passalacqua, his son John A. Passalacqua III, his girlfriend Breanna Lynn McGovern and her daughter Neveah Montgomery, his sister Nicole Passalacqua and T.J. Larry, his brother Joseph Passalacqua, his aunts and uncles, Harvey and Cathie Hannah, Michele Passalacqua, Renee and Chris Setaro, Vincent and Donna Passalacqua, Denese Rogers, Jacqui Fish, Stephen Passalacqua and Gary Monroe, Colleen and Lewis Kahler as well as many cousins.
Calling hours will be Monday, August 8 from 5-7 at the Smith Funeral Home, 3022 Oneida St. Sauquoit with a prayer service at 7:00 by the Rev. Arthur Krawczenko.
