The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Meeker can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Cheryl noti
Condolence: Words cannot express the sadness in my heart. Even though I know heaven needed you more than we did, I cannot help but miss you Joe. We were kids on the block who grew up to become family. You married my twin sister, and became my brother. We had great times and sad times, but through it all the one thing that never changed was the love we had for each other. You were a great friend who was always there to help anyone who needed you. Like the time I cried and cried be cause my first apartment was a dump and I was afraid to show my Dad...so what did you do? You got some paint and created the perfect doll house for me. Joe your kindness made me love you more. Or when you and Jodi broke up and you told me how sorry you were for doing that to me. Only you could worry about how I would feel. You were the best brother in law and father anyone could ask for, and you will be so missed. I was so proud when you became a firefighter...your dream. Joe I know you are with our families in heaven, and you are here watching over your girls. Just know you were and are loved and missed. I thank God for making you a part of my life. You are a good soul with a loving heart who left us all too soon. Until we meet again Old "one sneaker", watch over your girls and give us a sign you are still here. I love you and hope you have found peace and happiness and you know longer suffer. Thank you for my beloved baby girls, Jessica and Jillian and for making my sister happy and always loving her no matter what. For that I will always love you. Your loving sister Cheryl

Condolence: Dear Family, I want you to know that your father was a wonderful man. He was gifted by God to help others and he did so humbly. I worked with Joe at RCIL. He had a special way of helping others without their knowing it. He gave of his personal time often, going to peoples homes ( the people that attended the social day care program), fixing things in their homes and even painting and helping them move. He did this on his own, without pay. He would help those in need without being asked. He made people laugh even when they were distressed. He brightened their lives.Yes. Joe was gifted. The most important thing in Joes life was his children. They always came first. He loved them more than anything. I know that Joe is ok now. His children should rest assured that he will always be watching over them. You have had a wonderful father. What a gift!

Condolence: Joe, we've been friends since high school, and are probably the only 2 guys that entered the Army together on the "Buddy Program" where you went to Germany as Tanker and I went to Alaska as a Grunt! I'll see you again someday. You will be missed. Peace, Brother
